Privacy Policy
Nebbi only works if you feel safe here. This page lays out exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it protected. Plain language, no exceptions.
Effective Date: September 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Nebbi, Inc. (“Nebbi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you access or use the Nebbi mobile application (the “App”).
Additional information about how Nebbi handles consumer health data is available in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which supplements this Policy.

You may also voluntarily provide your gender, whether you are a parent or caregiver, other household or family information relevant to your use of the App, and other information you choose to provide.
Health and Wellness Data
We collect wellness-related information that you voluntarily provide through the App, including mood tracking, emotional check-ins, journal or reflection entries, and related information. For additional information, please see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Organization-Provided Information
If you receive access to Nebbi through an employer, educational institution, athletic organization, nonprofit, or other organization, we may receive limited information needed to provide and administer your access, such as your name, email address, organization, group or cohort, or eligibility information.
Technical and Usage Information
We automatically collect certain technical and usage information when you use the App. This may include your IP address, device identifiers, operating system, session information, App activity, usage behavior, and in-App preferences.
Payment Information
Subscription and payment processing is handled through third-party services, including RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play. Nebbi does not directly collect or store your payment card information.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Nebbi is a wellness application designed to help users build emotional awareness and better understand patterns in their well-being. Nebbi does not provide medical, therapeutic, psychiatric, or psychological services. Information provided through the App is not intended to substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information collected through the App:
To operate and provide the App and its features.
To personalize your experience and display patterns, insights, and recommendations based on information you record.
To authenticate and manage user accounts and provide customer or technical support.
To analyze App usage and improve performance, functionality, and user experience.
To maintain the security and integrity of the App and protect against fraud or unlawful activity.
To provide and administer organization-sponsored access.
To generate anonymous or aggregated group-level reporting for sponsoring organizations.
To communicate with you regarding the App, your membership, or your account.
To comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
4. Founding Membership
Nebbi may offer Founding Memberships with special pricing or benefits. Founding Memberships are non-refundable, including if you choose to delete your account. Once a Founding Membership account is deleted, the membership cannot be reinstated. We may use your information to administer your membership and communicate membership-related information and benefits.
5. Organization-Sponsored Access
You may receive access to Nebbi through an employer, educational institution, athletic organization, nonprofit, or other sponsoring organization.
A sponsoring organization may receive anonymous or aggregated group-level information regarding program participation, engagement, patterns, or outcomes.
Reports may include group-level patterns, general insights, and recommendations based on information recorded by participants.
Nebbi does not provide sponsoring organizations with an individual user’s mood logs, emotional check-ins, journal or reflection entries, or other personal wellness information unless the individual specifically directs or authorizes Nebbi to do so or disclosure is required by law.
Payment for or sponsorship of an individual’s access to Nebbi does not give the sponsoring organization access to that individual’s personal wellness profile.
6. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We use third-party service providers to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App. Depending on the services they provide, these providers may process information associated with your use of Nebbi as necessary to provide their services to us.
Our service providers include:
- Google Cloud Platform, which provides primary data hosting and infrastructure in the United States.
- Firebase, which provides authentication, analytics, and crash reporting.
- Sentry, which provides crash and error monitoring.
- PostHog, which provides product analytics.
- Postmark, which provides transactional email delivery.
- Expo, which provides push notification delivery.
- RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play, which provide subscription and payment-related services.
We require service providers to appropriately protect information they process on our behalf and to use it only as necessary to provide their services.
Information processed by these providers may be retained according to their applicable retention practices and may not be automatically deleted when you delete your Nebbi account.
Nebbi does not sell personal information or personal wellness information.
7. Data Storage and Security
Nebbi’s primary data infrastructure is hosted through Google Cloud Platform in the United States. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption of data at rest and in transit.
Our primary database is backed up automatically. Backups are encrypted and maintained on a rolling retention schedule. Our current primary database backup retention period is seven days. Backups are maintained for disaster recovery purposes and are not routinely accessed or restored.
Although we take reasonable measures to safeguard information, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Children’s Privacy
Nebbi is not intended for children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have unintentionally collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
9. Tracking Technologies
The App may use software development kits (“SDKs”), APIs, analytics technologies, and similar technologies to understand App performance, diagnose technical issues, and understand how users interact with the App. Depending on your device and applicable law, you may be able to limit certain tracking through your device privacy settings.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information. Additional rights relating specifically to consumer health data are described in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at support@nebbi.io. Nebbi will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available to you under applicable law.
11. Deleting Your Account
You can delete your Nebbi account at any time within the App.
Account deletion permanently removes your login and identifying details from our primary database, including your name, email address, date of birth, and gender. Certain wellness content, such as mood logs and journal or reflection entries, may be retained in de-identified form.
Copies of deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted system backups until those backups are automatically overwritten according to our backup retention schedule. Our current primary database backup retention period is seven days. Backups are maintained for disaster recovery purposes and are not routinely accessed or restored.
Deleting your account does not necessarily cause information maintained by our third-party service providers to be deleted immediately. Some information is removed according to provider retention practices, while certain records may remain associated with an anonymous or system-generated identifier.
If you would like Nebbi to delete applicable retained information and request deletion of applicable information maintained by service providers, contact support@nebbi.io and request complete erasure. Nebbi will process the request, including applicable provider deletion requests, in accordance with applicable law and subject to legal, operational, security, and technical requirements.
Deletion does not entitle you to a refund for an existing subscription, including a Founding Membership. Founding Memberships cannot be reinstated after account deletion.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice through the App or by other reasonable means. We will obtain additional consent where required by applicable law.
